5 Virtues of Ramadan That You Must Know
The Virtues of Ramadan. Muslims should understand the virtue of every worship that Allah has commanded. According to the scholars, the understanding of virtue in carrying out every godly charity will be a dispenser as well as will encourage to increase one's devotion.

The holy month of Ramadan is an opportunity for every servant of God to further increase the piety since this month has some virtues or benefits such as the following:

1. Ramadan of the Month Degrading the Qur'an

Ramadan is the month of the Quran. The relinquishing of the Qur'an in the month of Ramadan becomes a clear proof of the glory and virtue of the month of Ramadan. Allah Almighty says that means: " The month of Ramadan is that in which the Quran was revealed, a guidance to men and clear proofs of the guidance and the distinction; therefore whoever of you is present in the month, he shall fast therein, and whoever is sick or upon a journey, then (he shall fast) a (like) number of other days; Allah desires ease for you, and He does not desire for you difficulty, and (He desires) that you should complete the number and that you should exalt the greatness of Allah for His having guided you and that you may give thanks." (Surah al-Baqarah: 185 ).

In another verse, Allah says that means: " Surely We revealed it on the grand night." (Surah Al-Qadar: 1). And many other verses that explain that the Quran was revealed in the month of Ramadan. That's why the month of Ramadan is dubbed as the name of the syahrul Quran (the month of the Qur'an).

2. The Full Moon of Blessings

This month is also called moon syahrul month. This is based on the prophetic tradition of Prophet Muhammad which means: "It has come to you a blessed month. This month is required to fast you guys .. "(Ahmad, An-Nasa'i, and Al-Baihaqi). And also that every worship is done in the month of Ramadan, then Allah will multiply the reward.

And in this glorious and blessed month, it is not only blessings in reaping rewards, but many other blessings. Fasting in terms of economic aspects, then Ramadan gives economic blessing for traders and others. For the poor, Ramadan brings its own blessings. In this month a Muslim is strongly encouraged and be disbanded for charity and good deeds in the month of Ramadan to them. Even obliged to pay zakat for them.

3. Lailatul Qodar Night

The glory of Ramadan one of them is with the presence of a night full of glory and blessings in one of the nights on the last night and odd in the month of Ramadan is the night lailatul qodar. In the month of Ramadan, there is a night better than a thousand months ie lailatul qadar (the night of glory). On this night that is the last 10 days in the month of Ramadan is when descending al-Qur'an al-Karem.

Allah Ta'ala says which means: "1) Surely We revealed it on the grand night. 2) And what will make you comprehend what the grand night. 3) The grand night is better than a thousand months."(Surah Al-Qadr: 1-3).

4. The month of Ramadhan Months Forgiveness of Sin (Moon of Maghfirah)

Allah Almighty provides Ramadan as a facility for the remission of sins as long as we avoid great sins. The Holy Prophet said: "The five daily prayers, Fridays to Fridays and Ramadan to Ramadan eliminate the sins among those times as long as the major sins are shunned." (Muslim).

Through the various activities of worship in the month of Ramadan, God Almighty takes away our sins. Among them is the fasting of Ramadan, as the saying of the Prophet Saw which means: "Whoever fasts Ramadan because of full faith and expect the reward of Allah SWT, then forgiven his past sins". (Bukhari and Muslim).

Similarly, performing the night prayer (tarawih, witir and tahajud) in Ramadan can erase past sins, as the Prophet Muhammad SAW means: "Whoever fasts on the Qiyam Al-Layl of Ramadan (night prayer) with the full faith and expects the reward from Allah SWT, undoubtedly forgiven his past sins. "(Bukhari dan Muslim).

5. Ramadan Door of Heaven Is Opened, And The Door Of Hell Is Closed

The blessing of glory in the month of Ramadan is that the doors of heaven are open and the doors of hell are closed and demons are bound. Thus, Allah Almighty has given the opportunity to His servants to enter Paradise with the worship and good deeds they performed during the month of Ramadan.

Given the various priorities of Ramadan mentioned above, it is unfortunate that Ramadan comes and goes away from us just like that, without any maximum effort from us to achieve it by doing various worship and charity Salih. Hopefully, this year's Ramadan will be better in terms of deeds of worship than in previous years.
